HAPPY DAYS: Signed colour 10 x 8 photograph by the four main male cast members of the American television sitcom Happy Days comprising Henry Winkler (The Fonz), Ron Howard (Richie Cunningham), Donny Most (Ralph Malph) and Anson Williams (Warren 'Potsie' Weber). The four are seen together in a group pose in costume from Happy Days. Signed by each with their names alone in blue ink, most to clear areas of the image. Winkler's signature partially runs across a darker area although is legible. Professionally matted in ivory to an overall size of 13.5 x 12. VG

WIZARD OF OZ THE: An excellent collection of signed cards and pages removed from autograph albums by the main cast members of the 1939 classic musical film The Wizard of Oz comprising Judy Garland (Dorothy Gale; a good, bold fountain pen ink signature), Ray Bolger (The Scarecrow; a good example, 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road! The Scarecrow of Oz, Ray Bolger'), Jack Haley (The Tin Man; adding his character name beneath his signature), Bert Lahr (Cowardly Lion), Billie Burke (Glinda the Good Witch of the North; very slight through from signature to verso), Margaret Hamilton (The Wicked Witch of the West) and Frank Morgan (The Wizard of Oz; bold fountain pen ink example). The seven signatures have been professionally matted together in black and ivory alongside a selection of five different colour photographs of the stars in costume from The Wizard of Oz. Framed and glazed in a gold coloured frame to an overall size of 30.5 x 25.5. A rare and visually attractive ensemble. VG to EX
[BOOTH JOHN WILKES]: (1838-1865) American Stage Actor, assassinated President Abraham Lincoln at Ford's Theatre in Washington DC on 14th April 1865. A good brown wooden walking cane previously belonging to Booth and presented to him by the Anglo-American actress Laura Keene (1826-1873), featuring an ivory handle and with an inscription engraved on a silver band mounted at the top of the cane, John Wilkes Booth from Laura Keen [sic] '65. 32" in length. Previously housed in the Boothbay Theatre Museum in Maine. Rare. Some light overall age wear and minor scuffing, G. Booth assassinated Lincoln during a performance of Our American Cousin by shooting him in the back of the head. It was Laura Keene's company that were playing at Ford's Theatre on the night of the assassination. Some reports state that Keene entered the Presidential box after Lincoln had been shot and cradled his wounded head in her lap.
