A collection of various ivory wares, to include a shibayama fan, ivory puzzle ball, shell ornament, etc CONDITION REPORTS The fan paper is torn and broken in several places. The outside struts are missing pieces of inlay. One finial is missing to the base of the fan. The internal balls of the puzzle ball appear to be broken in several places, the stand has a large chunk missing from the front of the dragon. In the shell ornament, one tree appears to have been broken off at the front and there are several pieces missing from the branches of the second tree. The box end pieces are off and there are various sections missing. The carved ivory stylised tree ornament is missing one vertical section entirely and has one section missing to the circular base. All items have knocks, chips, dirt, etc, conducive with age and use. See images for more details. Length of fan approx 21 cm. Height of shell aprox 3 cm. Height of puzzle ball stand approx 9.5 cm. A collection of various Victorian ivory and bone-handled dressing table wares, boot pulls, glove stretchers, brushes, etc, a box of various manicure sets, beadwork decorated pin cushion, jewellery boxes, etc CONDITION REPORTS All items have general wear and tear, knocks, splits, scuffs, scrapes, etc, to include some chipping and splitting especially to one of the boxes which has a large split to it's lid and the smaller of the hand mirrors which has a large split to the top edge. The handle to the button hook has sheared off from the button hook itself. There are lots of bristles mising from the brushes. See images for more details.
