An early 19th century mahogany chest on chest with two short and six graduated long drawers with ivory escutcheons, on bracket feet, 125cms wide. (Self-declaration Submission reference -JWHVHK42)Condition ReportMeasures 185cms high and 57cms depth max.  There is a split to the right hand side on the base, a split to the left hand side of the top of approx 3ins and a split to the left hand side of the base.  A loss to the cockbeading to the right hand side of the second drawer down and the cockbeading to the left side of same drawer is present but detached, as is the missing handle.All handles, locks and escutcheons look to be original, oak lined drawers and backboards look to be original.  The veneer is lifting and cracking in places with associated losses to the front of the piece otherwise looks to be in good overall condition.
