19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK TWO STAGE LINEN PRESS CUPBOARD having moulded cornice above two blind panelled doors with ogee fielded panels, the projecting base with an arrangement of seven drawers with turned ebonised handles, ivory shield shaped escutcheons, standing on shaped bracket feet. 136 x 54 x 158cm approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Rather tired and worn condition. Mouldings missing to the top of the cornice either side and mouldings at the side panels have shrinkage splits with age. Two handles are replacements. Rather dry in places with general wear commensurate with age.
EARLY 20TH CENTURY JAPANESE CARVED LACQUERED AND STAINED HARDWOOD TWO FOLD SCREEN decorated overall with inset mother of pearl and ivory studies of egrets amongst foliage. Early 20th Century. 172 x 184cm approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: General losses overall to ivory and mother of pearl designs. Lacquering has minor chips and scratches in places. One caster is missing.
19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY STRAIGHT FRONT CHEST of two short and three long drawers, the top with cross banding decoration, cock beaded drawers with ivory escutcheons and turned handles, standing on outswept bracket feet. 95 x 48 x 93cm approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Very dry and faded to the top with some noticeable scratches, stains and splits. There is cock beading missing and one of the ivory escutcheons is also missing. General wear as expected with age but usable condition.

Price, puce printed marks, date cypher for 1935, a coffee can and saucer painted with a castle in a landscape, signed Rushton to both pieces, puce printed marks, date cyphers for 1912, the remaining six pieces mainly blush ivory miniature pieces (11) (condition: no sign of restoration or cracks, nibble to rim of miniature cup)
A GRAINGER & CO WORCESTER TWIN HANDLED VASE, shape No.G60, reticulated decoration to the top of the neck and the Persian design handles, blush ivory ground painted with cornfield flowers to the front and briar leaves to the back, green printed marks, painted orange 6020, height 35cm (condition: no signs of restoration or chips, there is a horizontal mark around the back of the vase which looks to be a scratch rather than a crack)
A LATE GEORGIAN IVORY, ENAMEL AND GOLD MOUNTED GAMING COUNTER BOX, of cylindrical form, the screw off cover enamelled with King of Diamonds playing card within a dark brown ground and white enamel circular frame inlaid in gold with 'Three Out' and foliate sprigs, height 3.5cm x diameter 2.9cm to fit counters approximate diameter 2.4cm (condition: gold band around base is loose in places, few small nibbles to screw rim, enamelled white band has several chips cracks which are just visible with the naked eye, bottom half of box has a deeper horizontal scratch approximately 4mm long)
