Attributed to Henry Bone (British, 1755-1834), James, Earl Lonsdale, enamel portrait miniature, after the original by Thomas Hudson (1701-1779), the subject with dark hair and "Vandyke" costume, mask and column on left, oval with gilt-metal border and ivory frame, miniature 4in x 3¼in (10cm x 8.25cm).
Tiffany & Co.; A late 19thC silver Coffee Pot, marked on base 'Tiffany & Co, 5399 M 8574, Sterling Silver (1873 - 1891 mark), of tapering cylindrical form, the body plain except for a band of foliate decoration to the lower edge, the handle with ivory insulators, the base also with presentation inscription 'Florence Dewar from Henry Potyer July 16th 1890', 8in (20.5cm) high, approx total weight 14.2ozt.
Ferdinand Preiss (1882-1943) art deco carved ivory figure of a dancing girl on her toes holding dress, cut to sides, raised on a pedestal green onyx, inscribed to base. Height 10.5cm The ivory figure and onyx base are in excellent condition with no damages to report. Slight yellowing to back of head.
1930s Mappin and Webb ivory handled silver oval shaped centre bowl, assay marked Birmingham 1934. 34.5cm long 19cm wide 10cm high. Total weight 827gBowl is in very good condition. No dents, bashes, splits or repairs to either the silver or the handles. Needs cleaned. Surface scratches to interior and some light spotting which may disappear with cleaning.
An Anglo-Indian ebony and ivory writing box mounted to a writing table with a single drawer, revealing a felt writing slope raised on a square tapered legs (damages to box) 58cm long 40cm wide 89cm high. The Anglo-Indian ebony and ivory writing box is in poor condition and requires restoration. The cover is seperated from its hinges, the cover has numerous pieces missing, ivory/bone border in particular, there are some pieces, edging for cover etc inside the box. Please examine the additional photographs whcih highlight some of the damages to this item.
