An early 18th century style black japanned lacquer cabinet on stand, the upper section with a broken swan neck pediment, centred with a foliate carved finial, above a pair of fielded panel doors, decorated with exotic birds, on stone panels, and enclosing an arrangement of small cupboard doors and drawers, with a writing slope the removeable base with split hinged top, decorated courtesans amongst interiors of temples, and enclosing a compartmentalised interior with ivory mounts, with drawer below, raised on square cabriole legs and claw feet.
