A late 19th century carved sectional ivory and brass inlaid and backed rosewood crucifix, 41 x 21.5cm, with suspension ring. CONDITION REPORT: Traces of wear and some dirt to the surface, possible minor restoration to the left foot, small loss to one side of the crown of thorns. Areas of tarnish to the brass, particularly to the upper part of the back, also on right hand arm to the corner there is a trace of staining possibly caused by a candle.
A 1920s leather vanity case with lined interior housing a George V hallmarked silver backed hand brush with overall engine turned decoration centred with a vacant circular cartouche, a matching shoe horn, button hook and a comb, five various silver topped clear glass jars, an ivory handled manicure set, a leather stationery wallet (four items missing), Mappin & Webb, London 1924, case 50.5 x 36 x 16cm, in canvas protective cover. CONDITION REPORT: The stripes to the inside of the case holding the lid are at fault, ripped in several places. Traces of wear.
A set of eight early 20th century Chinese carved ivory figures of Wang Mu horses on attached ebonised stand, average height 5.5cm (one af) and a small group of various ceramics seals. CONDITION REPORT: One of the horse's legs has a loss. Generally, the horses have areas of dirt to the surface and wear to bases, underneath the hooves and traces of glue where they have been reattached to the base boards.
A group of late 19th/early 20th century ivory carvings including a Hindu goddess altar depicting probably Kali, height 17.5cm, a letter opener with elephant finial, length 22cm, a pair of buffalo, also two pairs of Indian base metal earrings, an egg shaped pepper and a tea straw, also two Polynesian type busts (predominantly af). CONDITION REPORT: Brought back from India by the vendor's grandfather following WWI.
A large carved ivory puzzle ball and stand with reticulated cylindrical base decorated with dragons, height 38cm, and a smaller similar example with floral decorated stem, height 18cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Larger diameter 8cm, smaller 5.5cm. Larger: inner balls move but a bit sluggish, different carving to each layer, a couple of tiny slits can be seen, very few losses to outer ball. Small ball: balls move more freely but not so intricately carved, a few losses to outer ball. Stand: minor losses, surface dirt.
A collection of four Chinese carved ivory scent bottles, a similar turquoise example, and a malachite example of baluster form with mask and ring handles, height 6.5cm (6). CONDITION REPORT: Largest ivory example 8.5cm, smallest 7.3cm. Turquoise 6cm. Malachite 6.7cm. General wear commensurate with age and one ivory example appears to have a few areas of small losses and cellotape.

Florated gilt crosspiece bearing crossed sword and baton in wreath on the escutcheon. Ivory grip with gold/crimson cord sword-knot with acorn finial. Gilt brass scabbard with cruciform lockets. Gilt of crosspiece and lockets slightly rubbed, otherwise GC.

Very finely woven with beautifully drawn flowers. Note the most attractive main border of indigo floral medallions, each enclosed within a foliate outline, which protrude into the field.
