λA three-piece George IV silver and old Sheffield plate tea set, the tea pot by Emes and Barnard, London 1822, the cream jug and sugar bowl old Sheffield plated, compressed circular form, fluted decoration, with a chased band of trailing acorns and oak leaves, leaf capped fluted scroll handle with ivory insulators, on four ball feet, engraved with a crest, length handle to spout 27.5cm, approx. weight 22.5oz. (3) The crest is that of Appleyard, Esmond and others.
