An unusual Art Deco silver milk jug and matching sugar basin, each with plain shallow domed bodies and ivory scrollwork handles (made by a Miss Badgery of Plymouth, circa 1930, but bearing the later hallmarks of Robin Sales, Birmingham 1977), jug 10.5 cm high, 20.56 oz (including handles) CONDITION REPORTS Both with wear, scuffs, sctatyches, some small knocks. Quite a lot of cracks, stains and yellowing to handles.
A Regency silver baby's rattle with whistle, bells and ivory teether (by I C, London 1814), 14.4 cm long CONDITION REPORTS Overall with general wear and scuffs, some dents, wear and mis-shaping to mouth piece (whistle), some dents to the bells, and some of the bells separating at joins, ivory teether with some scuffs, dirt and slight discolouration.
A Victorian tortoiseshell needle case of slope front knife box form, the lid opening to reveal a sectional interior, 6 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs, some cracks and chips to tortoiseshell, some repairs and re-glued areas, dividers to interior with some chips and damage and currently quite crooked, several are loose, and some missing, the tortoiseshell to sides and base differs from the back and top, with more pronounced markings to the sides and base (please see photos), various splits and chips to ivory mounts.
An early 19th Century ivory ear spoon intricately carved as two arms pulling on a chain, each arm with delicate chain and other carved decoration, one end with a spoon, the other inscribed "Miss. R. B.", 19 cm long CONDITION REPORTS Shows some general signs of wear conducive to age with some rubbing particularly to the eges, on the side that is inscribed "Miss R.B." there is a circular carved date "185?" (the last figure has bee broken off and only the top and bottom remain, central piece missing altogether), on one hand around the ruff of the sleeve there are a couple of small chips to the decoration meaning a a couple of of ruffs are missing, otherwise just shows some general wear conducive to age.
A 19th Century ivory miniature gavel with engraved inscription "TBS to GP", 11 cm long CONDITION REPORTS Gavel head appears to have come off and been reglued and filled at the join. Gavel head with numerous cracks, stains, some discolouration and knocks and chips. Handle with stains and discolouration.
A Victorian amboyna and ebonised veneered music cabinet, the cross-banded top with squared corners over a single glazed door enclosing four shelves with ivory inlaid tags inscribed "Dances", "Miscellaneous" and "Songs" over a partition flanked by ebonised and gilded side pillars, raised on a plinth base to turned feet, 59.5 cm wide
