A George III ivory and tortoiseshell inlaid tea caddy of ten sided form, the hinged lid with silver handle, the front with navette shaped cartouche engraved with a family crest, 12cms high.Condition ReportThe cover has shrinkage splits in two panels, one piece of tortoiseshell stringing is missing, the base has two pieces of tortoiseshell missing on the rim, the front has a piece of tortoiseshell stringing missing, the ivory has shrinkage splits to most panels, there are chips to the tortoiseshell around the bottom rim, otherwise good overall condition.
A 19th century tortoiseshell sewing box, the top inlaid with mother of pearl scrolling flowers and ivory stringing, on four ivory bun feet, the fitted interior containing various sewing tools to include mother of pearl thread winders, tatting shuffle and multi-bladed pocket knife, 23cms wide.

Cream jug and sugar bowl in good condition. A good quality service.

Consigned by a client in the South-East whose family it has been in for many years.

The second example with general yellowing and losses to the edge of the mirror, the tip of the toothpick/ear scoop bent.
