Late 18th century/early 19th century Chinese export black lacquer gilt decorated tea caddy of lobed rectangular form, with multiple panels of figures in interiors and gardens, feather and dot borders and four dragon feet, the interior with two lidded lift out tin boxes with carved ivory knops. 24cm wide.

19th century Chinese Export black and gilt lacquer large tea chest of of rectangular form with flowerhead lattice decoration, the interior with vignette of two figures drinking tea, foliate scroll borders and removable tin box with engraved panel of immortals and ivory knop handle. 33.5cm x 28cm x 21.5cm high.
19th century Chinese pierced and carved ivory tablescreen or plaque depicting a landscape with pavilions and deities, in ivory inlaid glazed wooden frame, with pierced ivory pediment of scrolling dragons, on wooden stand with additional ivory roundels, panel and supports, pierced wooden foliate scrolling and shaped bracket feet. Panel image 17cm x 14cm, 36.5cm x 23cm overall. Condition report:Very small areas of damage to lattice back of ivory plaque (old sellotape verso, top left, middle left), as images. Generally good, slight cracks to edge. Frame starting to split at corners, pediment and inlay good. Glass cracked verso. Stand missing two ivory supports verso. Top left moulding detached. Damage to pierced wooden scrolling, as images. Slight shrinkage of inset panel and roundels.

ATTRIBUTED TO G. STEPHANY & J. DRESCH, AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY OVAL IVORY MICRO-CARVED MARITIME DIORAMA depicting a three masted gun ship with figures on the deck, Bristol blue glass backed, glazed with brass bezel, 3 1/2 ins x 3 ins with ebonised slip and gilt frame, 8 ins x 7 ins, some furled sails detached. SEE ILLUSTRATION. G. Stephany & J. Dresch, German sculptors operated in Bath and London between 1790 and 1802 working alongside Roseberg the silhouette artist, they exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and were awarded the title "Sculptors in Miniature on ivory to their Majesties" by King George III.
