A late 19th Century ivory mounted and engraved games box with counters, probably Indian, the body decorated with pierced and engraved applied panels, the interior housing rectangular and square gaming tokens engraved with figures and deities, 10.5cm wide, 9.5cm wide and 4cm high, together with ivory beads, an aide memoire and an incomplete cased manicure set.
A carved ivory Mr. Punch walking stick or cane handle, 19th century, 1 7/8in. (4.8cm.) long; together with another carved ivory walking cane handle in the form of a male bust, possibly a Quaker, 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) long; a carved ivory and brass seal in the form of a clenched fist; and three other carved ivory handles, one red stained. (6) * Condition: - Mr. Punch: Lacks fixing screw. A few old hairline cracks and small brown stain mark to left side of hat. - Bust cane handle: Some hairline cracks to ivory throughout. - Seal: Crack to back of fist. Otherwise good. - 3 x handles: Red stained and short ivory handles good. Long barleytwist handle has snapped piece of ivory inside the threaded hole to top.
A Chinese carved ivory snuff bottle, 19th century, of tapered rounded rectangular form with turned cover, one side relief carved with two scholars beneath a tree, the opposing side with engraved decoration of a squirrel in nut laden branches, signed and inscribed, 3in. (7.7cm.) high. * Condition: The carved side and top surface faded and a little dulled from sunlight. No other faults.
A Chinese Canton carved ivory aide memoire, 19th century, the covers carved and pierced with figures in wooded gardens, against a star pierced ground and within dragon carved borders, with six ivory leaves and brass clasp, 3¾ x 2 1/8in. (9.5 x 5.4cm.). * Condition: Tiny rust stain mark to one corner of cover and minute chip to opposite corner (1 x 1mm.). Tiny chip to corner of one leaf, another has a 15mm. hairline crack to edge and a third has a three very small (<5mm.) hairline cracks to edge.

(6.3cm.) high; the other of a toy seller, carrying toys including a mask, dice, book and model ship on a gnarled wooden frame on his back, 1 7/8in. (4.6cm.) high, a/f. (2) * Condition: - Woman & child: Good with no damage. Front of figure slightly sun faded. - Toy seller: Stick missing from top of wooden frame and crack to right side of the frame & toys. No other faults.
A Dieppe carved ivory cased diorama, 19th century, depicting two girls collecting flowers in a landscape with buildings and trees, the glass with painted foliage, within a composition box frame, 4 x 3in. (10 x 7.5cm.). * Condition: Inside of glass dirty and some fading to painted foliage. One tree is loose inside frame. Otherwise good.
A fine quality Dieppe carved ivory and silver hunt interest aide memoire, 19th century, of arched form, one side finely carved with a hunting dog beneath overhanging foliage, within a shaped reserve, the back with a similar reserve carved with a horse, the hinged silver clasp with maker's mark 'GUY', the six leaves inscribed with days of the week from Monday to Saturday, 3½in. (8.9cm.) long, lacks pencil. * Condition: Lacks pencil. Top face slightly sun faded. Otherwise very good, with no other faults.
A group of Chinese Canton carved ivory items, 19th century, comprising a needle case, 2¾in. (7cm.) long; a pierced pendant with a bird amidst foliage; three napkin rings; two dragon carved buckles; etc.; together with a set of six cinnabar lacquer style buttons. (qty.) * Condition: All pieces in very good condition, apart from: - One napkin ring has some teeth damage marks/chips to one side. - One octagonal button has a tiny nick to edge.
