The hilt, in iron, with cusped borders, with central slot for blades passing and locking lever. Curved grip with ivory grip scales, richly embossed with floral motifs in bass-relief. length aperto cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Sumbawa, Strong, curved, single-and false-edged blade, part of the back decorated with inscriptions and symbols in silver on both sides. Ivory grip with silver ring-nut embossed with floral motifs. Wooden scabbard, embossed in the upper part with floral motifs and with silver and brass bands. Used for ceremonial rice harvest on Sumbawa island. length 38 cm.
dating: third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Octagonal, rifled 7 mm cal. barrel, engraved with geometrical motifs, provided with central foresight and rear sight notch. Marked 'CHMELOT & DELVIGNE IN.ON B.TEE. Six-shot cylinder with stamps, engraved with twisted bands and leaves. Frame with typical loading gate on the left and with manual extractor. Mechanic to be checked. Grip with ivory grip scales. Folding trigger. Kept in its old, wooden case with brass mounts and blue-velvet lining at the inside. Complete with ramrod, screwdriver and key. length 24 cm.
dating: late 15th early 16th Century provenance: North Italy, Wide, curved, single-and false-edged blade, the back hollow next to the foible, the right side with semi-circle stamp, dented and specular, tang. Iron hilt with rectangular, outlined quillon block and 'S'-quillon; big, oval pommel, flat, with letter 'T' in an oval. Ivory grip (craquele). length 93 cm.
dating: circa 1900 provenance: Germany, Single-and false-edged blade with tang, first part finely engraved with a hunter, hunting scene, trophy and floral motifs; brass hilt with a small shell-guard, quillon and loop-guard ending in a deer's hoof, ivory grip scales. dating: 1702 provenance: Munich, Octagonal, rifled, 15 mm cal. barrel, remains of engravings at the base and the signature with date 'GUIDOBALDO KLETT in MÜNCHEN 1702', with place for the sight (missing), slightly bell-mouthed nozzle, with brass foresight; wheel-lock with flat plate provided with a long, engraved and chiselled tang, depicting a hunter running toward a group of dogs assaulting a deer, and another hunter on horseback shooting at the deer; the inside plaque of the internal wheel with floral engravings and a cartouche marked 'I C. Stengi Im Scu.'; at the upper part of the plate the signature 'G. Klett in München'; the base of the hammer chiselled as a rabbit, the protection plaque with engraved cherub seating on a fish; sliding pan cover; briar-root, full stock (small damages, parts missing, some restorations), bordered with bone inlays; patchbox with ivory cover depicting a bull attacking a man; the cheek-piece with an oval depicting a knight; more bone (some small part missing and repair) and ivory inlays with floral engravings; anatomic, iron trigger-guard, with curl and chiselled and pierced tang; trigger and set trigger; wooden ramrod and holder. length 114,3 cm.
dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Arabian Peninsula, Slightly curved, single-and false-edged blade, tip, with fuller. Silver cross-quillon with quillons ending in grooved cusps. Grip with silver wire binding, silver central band, decorated with filigree, ivory grip scales, both enriched with three cabochon corals. Silver, angled, engraved cap. Chain guard. Wooden scabbard, completely covered with silver foil, engraved with floral motifs, two rounded bands, provided with a lug. length 104,5 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Caucasia, Slightly curved, single-and short false-edged blade with double groove (small, pierced crack toward the tip), the base with gold-inlaid Arabic inscriptions and big Arabic stamp. Iron grip of typical shape, richly decorated with golden floral motifs, both sides with three, ivory plaques, engraved and gold-inlaid with floral motifs; wooden scabbard, completely covered with gilded, iron foil and, on the front, decorated with eight, ivory plaques, engraved and gilded en suite with the grip. Back part in iron, with golden floral decorations. Two suspension rings. Iron surface with rust damages, small parts of gilding missing. Very scarce. length 94.5 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Caucasia, Straight, double-edged blade, with deep, asymmetric groove, long, gold-inlaid inscription in Arabic on the front; grip with ivory and horn grip scales, ivory front part, engraved with floral and geometrical motifs with gold inlays, iron mounts and rivets, decorated with golden floral motifs; wooden scabbard covered with brown velvet (blanched and slightly worn), with iron mounts, decorated en suite and two, ivory plaques, engraved with floral motifs with yellow-gold inlays, back part decorated in silver. Small parts missing. Scarce. length 52.5 cm.
