REEL: Robertson of Glasgow presentation fly reel by Malloch, 2.5" diameter ebonite/brass with German silver rims, ivory handle, smooth constant check, face plate stamped "Robertson Maker Glasgow and engraved presented to Alex. MacPherson Esq., by the members of the Walton Angling Club Glasgow, 30th. March 1899", with accompanying letter from the Walton Angling Club 1981 detailing Alex MacPherson as secretary of the club 1887-1899 and various other related information, incl. "the reel was bought from Messrs` Robertson The Glasgow Fishing Tackle Dealers for 8 4shillings", quite a sum of money for those times.

Two late George III portrait miniatures the first of a gentleman in a red coat, the water colour on ivory portrait is mounted in un hallmarked yellow metal with box catch attachment for a bracelet, in a ray skin case. The second of a gentleman in a blue coat, the watercolour on ivory portrait is mounted in un hallmarked yellow metal with the reverse a domed glazed section holds a hair plait, in a satin lined leather case. Both late 18th Century early 19th Century, English school.
