A 19th century miniature portrait on ivory, possibly depicting Marie Antoinette, in half length seated pose wearing rich court dress with lace and gold braids, and a gold coronet with pearl adornments, bears signature lower right, in a gilt brass and ivory inset frame with pierced filigree border set with simulated pearls, the back of the frame with glazed panel revealing an inset brass monogram 'H O' or 'O H' to the brown velvet back, and an easel stand, 13.5 by 9.5cm, frame overall 19 by 15cm.

Handle with some movement and ivory insulators. Cover closing properly, hinge in good order. Engraving is crisp. Slight wobble on a flat surface. Some small knocks to body. Also containing a copy of an excerpt detailing the events of the evening where the presentation of the teapot was made.
A French Silver Bachelor's Teapot, Ladoucette & Gavard, Paris late 19th Century, retailed by Chapoulou, Palais Royal, with elaborate shallow relief scrolling foliate decoration, the initial C within a shield shape reserve to one side, 19cm long, 9oz 16dwt Marked to cover, neck and foot, retailer's stamp to underside. Ivory insulators. Some visible solder around junctions of handle and hinge. Foot pushed upwards to one end slightly and the occasional minor knock.

A 19thC Chinese Canton export Ivory Brisé Fan, with guardsticks carved in relief each side with figures, dragons, flowers and animals, the sixteen sticks pierced and intricately carved in low relief with a continuous scene depicting Chinese dignitaries, musicians, dragons, pagodas, willow trees etc. and a central vacant oval cartouche, 7¼in (18.5cm) long, 12¾in (32.5cm) span, together with a 19thC Brisé 'Frozen Lace' Fan, with twenty five inner sticks and two guardsticks, sticks intricately pierced with complex fishnet, foliate and swag designs, resembling lace, 6¾in (17.5cm) long, 11¾in (30cm) span, guard sticks repaired, together with an intricately pierced small brisé fan, the guard sticks inset with cut steel studded decoration, ribbon broken (3) .
