There is a scratch to one and a split to another. Most have some gilt and pattern rubbed.The rest :There is a split to one of the cup as well as one of the bowls. 19th century Chinese carved ivory puzzle ball on stand, the ball surmounted by Dog of Fo, the outermost ball carved and pierced with assorted figures, foliage and thirteen open circular 'windows' revealing the seventeen carved and pierced balls beneath, the puzzle ball is suspended via an ivory chain on a stand, with the protruding arm formed as dragon, its body and tail winding its way amongst foliage to the upright, also formed from ivory, and intricately decorated with samurai and further figures, the stand with carved ivory panels, featuring various figures, pagodas and boats (stand 48cm tall, and ball approx 11cm diameter) (when bought by the owner's grandfather he was told that it had taken 3 generations of the family to carve it).  Condition ReportThere are a few small cracks to the front of the stand as well as a chip on the edge of the base of the stand. One of the inner balls in the puzzle could be damaged. There is a repair to the mouth of the stand holder. There looks to be some marks on the bottom of the ball possibly repair. See attached images. weight 300gms approx  There is a bag of pieces that are part of the itemWe have counted at least 18 layers including the outside ball

Wick holder marks are clear. No signs of major damage or repair
