A boxed Norev 'Spot-On' 111/A1 Ford Thames Trader, in British Railways livery together with four other boxed Norev recreations of models from the 'Spot-On' range including 104 MGA in green, 105 Austin Healey Six metallic blue/cream, (5) 107 Jaguar XKSS in ivory and 108 Triumph TR3 in red. A GEORGE III SILVER TEAPOTOf squat circular form, with partly fluted decoration, crest engraved, with beaded rims and fitted with an ivory handle and finial to to lid, London 1808, no maker's mark, gross weight 783gmsHinge to lid very wobbly. Finial and handle are probably replaced. Fittings to handle and pins have been released and reassembled.Dent to centre of bottom of the teapot. No maker's mark. There are lead solder repairs around the edge of the top of the bottom of the teapot.Otherwise generally a bit tired.

There is some distortion to the base.It is possible to unscrew and remove the ivory button which has a central threaded post.Staining inside the inner drop in dish, which does not fit snugly in to position.Otherwise would benefit from careful, professional cleaning.

There is some damage to the connecting links of the filigree. Four of the ivory panels have small hair cracks to the backs. The ivory panels look to be in good condition. Personal viewing recommended. There is slight damage to the carving of the lid of the wooden box. Length of box, 23.3cm.
Pair of Royal Worcester blush ivory 1410 hand painted vases of oval form having classical flared neck, mask head handles, and the body hand painted with flower spray, standing on a circular and stepped base. 28cm high approximately. Puce printed marks to the underside. (2)(B.P. 21% + VAT) Noticeable tiny nick to one of the noses of the mask heads. Pedestal of base appears to have come off and been re-glued on the other vase.

The pieces have been cleaned, but please bear in mind that the pieces may have underlying issues due to the fire. As stated, the potpourri is missing its internal and external covers, there is a large chip to the rim, wear to the gilding. Light wear to the gilding throughout. The reticulated piece with numerous chips to the edge and wear to the gilding.

A 19th Century Chinese lacquered work box, of canted rectangular form, decorated in gilt with figures in a landscape with foliate scrolls and fish, the cover flanked by carrying handles and opening to reveal a lift-out tray with fitted compartment, with carved ivory items including pots, needle holders, table mounted pin cushion, bobbins and needles, and underlying drawer with hinged writing slope, 36 x 27 x 16cms high.
A fine and rare example of a taxidermy Chillingham bull, on oak shield with ivory plaque inscribed 'Shot by Sir John Christopher Willoughby, Octr 6th 1878, at Chillingham Castle', 53 x 67 x 100cms.Note: The Wild Cattle of Chillingham are remarkable survivors of the ancient cattle which once roamed Britain’s forests.Sir John Christopher Willoughby, 5th Baronet DSO (20 February 1859 – 16 April 1918) was a British army officer, Justice of the Peace for Oxfordshire, and landowner of properties in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. After education at Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge, John Christopher Willoughby became in 1879 a lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion Oxford Light Infantry. He became a 2nd lieutenant in the 6th Dragoon Guards and entered the Royal Horse Guards in 1880. He served in the Egyptian campaign in 1882 (awarded medal with clasp, and bronze star), in the Nile expedition in 1884–1885 (mentioned in despatches), and with the British South Africa Company's Force in Matabeleland in 1893. In South Africa in the Second Boer War from 1899 to 1900, he was present with Cavalry Headquarter Staff during the siege of Ladysmith and at the relief of Mafeking was appointed major, under General Hunter, in charge of Transport of Flying Column (mentioned in despatches and awarded a medal). Willoughby served in World War I from 1914 to 1917 and was awarded DSO in 1917. He was ultimately major in command of the 1st Motor Battery of the Army Service Corps before his death aged 59 in April 1918. He was buried in Kensal Green Cemetery, London.
