JUMANJI (1995) - Alan Parrish's (Robin Williams) Screen-matched SFX KnifeAlan Parrish's (Robin Williams) screen-matched SFX knife from Joe Johnston's adventure film Jumanji. Alan wielded his knife when he returned to his family home after 26 years of being trapped inside the supernatural board game of the title. This knife's handle can be screen-matched to the scene where he waved the blade at the lion that was released with him, and the weapon ended up embedded in the floor. The knife features a metal blade covered in grey-painted resin designed to resemble carved stone, and a resin handle hand-painted to resemble worked ivory. Williams was trained to handle knives with the special steel insert, which he used to throw and stick into the mansion floor. This knife exhibits discolouration and chipped resin. Dimensions: 33 cm x 5 cm x 4 cm (13" x 2" x 1")Estimate: £3,000 - 6,000 Ω View all lots from JUMANJI (1995)Bidding for this lot will end on Sunday, November 12th. HIGHLANDER (1986) - Ramirez's (Sean Connery) Hero Katana and ScabbardJuan Sánchez-Villalobos Ramírez's (Sean Connery) hero katana from Russell Mulcahy's fantasy adventure Highlander. The Spanish-Egyptian immortal used his sword to train Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert), before being beheaded by The Kurgan (Clancy Brown). The mysterious sword was passed to MacLeod, and was a key plot device throughout the series, becoming his signature weapon through the ages. Custom-made for the production, this hero sword boasts a polished stainless steel blade; a machined aluminium guard; a cast resin grip; and a wooden scabbard covered in red leather. The blade is blunt and smooth to ensure on-set safety. The grip features relief detailing of Japanese dragons, lions and samurai, and has a faux-ivory finish.
