An early 20th century Japanese carved ivory figure group of a lion attacking a crocodile, signed with two character marks to base, length 20cm. CONDITION REPORT: Two eyes of the crocodile are missing as is the left eye of the lion. Some of the limbs are slightly loose but no further significant damage.
An Edwardian hallmarked silver aide-mémoire of rectangular form with engine turned decoration and central circular panel with engraved initials, the interior with stamp compartments and ivory central writing plaque, with white metal propelling pencil, Horace Woodward & Co Ltd, London 1903, 10 x 7cm.

A pair of mid 19th century Sinhalese carved ebony and specimen wood inlaid occasional tables, the hexagonal top with leaf carved edge and central swirling flowerhead inlay with radiating veneers of specimen woods, including palm, calamander, satinwood and rosewood, outlined in silver metal stringing and centred by an ivory flowerhead above a cushion moulded frieze with ebony lined drawer on lotus leaf and double C-scroll supports on a canted rectangular base with scrolled feet, height 74cm. A 19TH CENTURY PORTRAIT MINIATURE of oval form, watercolours on ivory panel, depicting a gentleman in period attire, named as Richard Goddard to the interior, within a gilt slip, moulded oval frame, under glass. 7.5cm x 6cm Ill fitting in frame, the reverse of frame requires attention, some surface dirt to panel.

A VICTORIAN STYLE SILVER MOUNTED EBONY WALKING CANE, the tapering shaft mounted with a foliate embossed silver mount, marks for Birmingham 1997, maker KC, the terminal mounted with an earlier (pre 1947) ivory handle carved in the form of a dogs head with inset glass eyes. 94cm(h) Splits to dogs head, marks and scratches to case.
TWO JAPANESE BRONZE ELEPHANT AND TIGER GROUPS late Meiji period (1868-1912) the rearing bull elephant with a tiger attacking his back, another clawing his back leg, with ivory inset tusks, triple cast character mark, 14cm high; the other smaller but conforming. 10.5cm(h), each on a hardwood base. (2) The smaller elephant with re-glued and depleted tusks, the larger with re-glued tusks, some wear mainly to base of feet.
