Worn around waist by girls & women. Sometimes nothing else! Provenance Reverend Edward Thomas Packenham, Church Missionary Society superintendent. Stationed in Owo, Oshogbo and Lagos 1909 - 1921.

(3) Similar totems were sold through the Nugget Shop, Juneau, Alaska, 1913 - 1938. This one depicts the flood myth of the raven flying to heaven with children in his arms, saving them from the flood.
