A 17th/18th century Indo-Portuguese inlaid hardwood table top cabinet with fall enclosing an interior with one long drawer, four short drawers and one deep drawer, profusely decorated throughout in ivory, bone and wood with borders of scrolling foliate motifs and geometric panels, on four bun feet, height 17cm, width 27.5cm, depth 20cm.Additional InformationThere is a large section of the fall lacking around the lock plate and there are other losses to the detailing to the centre section of the front, there are losses to the edge detailing on the right hand front corner and upright and also to the two back corners, there is also some geometric detailing lacking to the upper section and the right hand section of the front edges of the cabinet, other losses to the decoration here and there throughout, the bun feet may not be original and have flat head screws holding them in, the interior is a strong colour and in much better condition, one of the handles to the drawers is lacking, these handles are not original, general rusting to the hinges of the fall, despite faults overall appearance is ok.
