A stained and turned bone Staunton pattern chess set, late 19th century, the king 10cm high, together with a rosewood box and a quantity of stained and natural ivory gaming counters. One white pawn missing. Two red pawns lacking finials. Some typical staining, surface splitting, flakes and scratches. Box with some scratches and splits.
A Royal Worcester floral painted gilt-highlight plate, signed E.Barker (a.f.); together with three Royal Worcester blush ivory plates; and a Royal Worcester gilt-highlight cobalt blue twin-handled vase (5) . E.Barker plate - crack from left to right which has been glued, with crazing. One blush ivory plate - poorly restored. Remainder of lot in ok overall condition.
