Circa 1680 Small Needlework Embroidery, depicting a King and Queen, the King stands on a knoll holding a sceptre, the Queen holding a bouquet of flowers, with applied sequins to the King's crown and the Queen's robes and shoes, a palace in the background amongst various creatures and foliage including trees, rabbit, butterfly, squirrel, lion, caterpillar and flowers including fritillary, tulip and daffodil-type flowers within a simple arcaded border, in colours thread on an ivory silk ground, 28cm by 23cm. Some sequins detached. Some of the metal covered threads and materials poor. Background silk stained, torn and holed. Larger hole in centre. Overall fading. Some stitching missing from female figure. Partly unfinished. The frame later with some veneer loss.

Black/cream applique panel dress - missing belt, light pink mark near the hem, otherwise ok. Dress with internal corset - couple of black marks to the hip, vertical tear from the hem, and slight discolouration. Ivory satin dress - slight stains under the arms, one button missing, slight wear, some areas of discolouration, mainly towards the end of the train. Cream short sleeved dress - chiffon mount to front and back torn and worn, and slight wear. Cream silk dress - some discolouration to the skirt and slight wear overall. Lace dress - slight wear overall, some tears to the hem and some pulls to the waist, missing belt.
