Six Assorted Hand Fans to include four pierced brise hand fans to include a pierced bone fan 24cm, pierced ivory fan with flowers to the top of each stick 17cm and two pierced wooden fans 19cm. A Tortoiseshell hand fan, 15cm high and a bone fan with hand-painted and embroidered silk leaves and sticks depicting a magnolia flower. Beaded white feathers extend out of the top of each panel, 38cm highCondition report: The handle at the head of the fan is broken and will need repairing, there are some chips to the edges of some of the leaves and pieces of string are missing. one feather is missing from the top however it is stored in the original box and should be able to be re-attatched.

The surface of the ivory is concave and there is some minor bubbling across the lower half of the painting with some resultant flecks of paint loss. There is a strip of gilt from the mount running parallel to the left-hand edge of the painting with some resultant flecks of paint loss. The painting is ornately framed and glazed. The frame has some minor scuffs and knocks commensurate with age.
