Sidney Harold Meteyard RBSA - A portrait miniature on ivory of a young girl in profile with hair pleated and wrapped around her crown, dressed in white robes before fruiting bushes and a classical arch all to a landscape setting, circa 1922, 6.5cm x 5.25cm. ILLUSTRATED Provenance - The sitter is Norah Elaine Eadie, sister of Kate M. Eadie, wife of Meteyard. The reverse is annotated in pen `Me in 1922` together with `To Colin from Norah Elaine Eadie`. This miniature was gifted to the vendor direct from Eadie in the mid 1970`s.
