A Louis XVI Gold-Mounted Carnet-de-Bal, Circa 1770, tapering, the blue lacquer ground set with stars, each side with an openwork ribbon-tied cartouche, one side with a miniature of a putto in a landscape, the other with a painting of pansies within the motto 'a vous Seule elles Sont commues', a secret button on the base releases this painting to reveal a hinged secret compartment, the cover applied one one side 'Souvenir' and on the other 'D'Amitie', the inside with an ivory double tablet and with an associated pencil, 8.5cm high
An Edward VII Silver Tea-Caddy, by William Wheatcroft Harrison, Sheffield, 1905, fluted tapering oval and on spreading foot, the corners chased with foliage, the hinged cover with carved ivory finial, 11.5cm high, gross weight 6oz 3dwt, 196gr. Fully marked on back. The cover further part marked inside and on finial fixing bolt. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some discolouration to the ivory finial.
An Edward VII Silver Teapot, by James Dixon and Sons, Sheffield, 1909, oblong and on four ball feet, the lower body gadrooned, with ivory insulated handle, the hinged cover with ebonised wood finial, 23cm wide over handle, gross weight 15oz 17dwt, 493gr . Fully marked on body near handle. The cover and handle each further marked with lion passant. The marks are generally clear. Further stamped '4617' over '3' underneath. There are some overall surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use. The ivory insulators are somewhat discoloured and cracked.

A Napoleon III Brass Bound and Ivory Inlaid Parquetry and Kingwood Cased Travelling Drinks' Set, of serpentine fronted rectangular form, the hinged superstructure and sides containing a lift-out tray, with four spirit decanters and fifteen glasses, and a matched glass, on peg feet, 27cm high. Polish faded, mainly to the top. Some of the veneers are loose but retained. Some other areas where the veneer has lifted, or cracked. The case opens and closes properly. All glassware in good condition. One drinking glass replaced. Some light damages to the glass carrying frame. thr right hand side lid stay damaged but component retained.
An Indian Ivory Lamp Base and Shade, 1920-30, with elephant finial, pierced cylindrical shade, and cylindrical stem and base carved with elephants and other animals, on elephant feet, converted to electricity, 38cm high Provenance: By repute acquired by a partner in Hays Akers & Hays who were company secretaries to the Calcutta Tramway between 1923 and 1938. Some natural hair cracking caused by the material drying over time. Two tassels detached and missing their suspension loops. The lamp would need to be rewired. No detrimental damage otherwise.
