A good ivory Okimono, mid 19th century, of Jo and Uba, the old man standing with a broom, his wife kneeling feeding a mandarin crane from a tea bowl, a minogame climbing over her foot, the details well engraved and some black infilled, crane slightly loose, 12cm, wood stand (2) Jo and Uba were an elderly couple and the iconography all points to long life., Crane beak detached from dish.
A good walrus ivory Okimono, c.1870, of a large monkey in a jacket, struggling with a giant peach, a frog in contention, another monkey and a toad above, a peach at the base, inlaid into the granular core with an ivory tablet signed Yorimitsu yuki (?), 7.7cm, some very fine natural splits, otherwise no obvious faults.
A good carved ivory Okimono, 19th century, carved as an ape holding a branch with peaches with two young clambering over his back whilst another shelters in front clutching a persimmon fruit, eyes inset with horn, signed Masatami, 4.5cm, There is a stained line running down the right arm and a smaller stained line down right thigh of the main ape.
A single fold, two-panel Shibayama Screen, Meiji period, inlaid in ivory with baskets hanging from a blossoming branch with birds and insects, the reverse panels with blossoming branches, with carved and pierced pediment and base, 83.6 x 177.5cm, Some chips and cracks to lacquer ground throughout, two small pieces of inlay missing on right screen. Painted black frame with woodworm holes and damage on the base.

An onlaid rosewood Make-up Box, early 20th century, decorated in hard and soft stones, mother-of-pearl and with figures, their faces ivory, at various pursuits, brass mounts, several pieces missing or replaced, wear, 34.2 x 27 x 21cm ????? ?????????????, There are some losses to the on-lay around the whole of the exterior. Metal hinges all present and with some oxidisation in places. Interior mirror is repaired to the bottom corners. One of the hinges to the folding compartments is damaged.

Some losses to ivory decoration at rear of head (mount marks at centre of shoulder blades). A loose wire below beard. Base missing finials along rail. 8cm split along top of base.

A pair of ivory Wrist Rests, probably Kangxi, each of rounded rectangular bean form and deeply carved with two ladies and eight children in an interior, the ends with flowers growing from rockwork, all well engraved, one end minor damage, 6.4 x 14.8cm, wood stands (4) ???(??) ????????????, One panel with 2cm section on the upper right broken and glued with a small section missing and a small chip. The plant on the far right with some losses. The second panel with a 1cm hairline crack to the top right and top left hand corners, the plant on the left side table with some losses, the bamboo stem to the right with a split, a further flower to the base of the bamboo with a stem missing. One stand with a loose joint.

Left foot broken and repaired. Chip to hair at rear. Tobacco pouch suspension rope missing.
