^ Unusual Georgian Naval Officers Fighting Short Sword, late 18th century, broad curved single edge cutlass blade, hilt of dirk type, brass mounts retaining traces of gilding, recurved crosspiece integral pommel and backstrap, one piece chequered ivory grip, in its leather scabbard with brass mounts each with pierced shaped edges and retaining traces of gilding, twin hanging rings. Overall 63.5cms, blade 53cms. Good condition. This weapon seems to be a cross between the dirk and the cutlass.Please note this lot requires a CITES license to be exported outside of the EU
Heavy Georgian Hanger with unusual brass hilt comprising lion’s head pommel, crosspiece with relief decoration, and solid brass spiral grip, slightly curved single edge blade cut with a narrow fuller. Overall 63cms, blade 48cms. Good Condition, knuckle chain missing. Hangers of this type are usually found with a silver hilt and an ivory grip; this would appear to be a fighting version of the same.

Blade of the second 26cms. Average fair condition.
German Third Reich Kriegsmarine Officer's dagger circa 1938-45 by Eickhorn, Solingen. A good example, the anchor etched blade with double fuller and to the forte the stamped cutler's post 1941 backward looking squirrel logo. Gilt metal mounts, twist wire bound simulated ivory grip. Housed in gilt metal scabbard with engraved lighting bolts, oak leaf supports for the two loose suspension rings. Toned with minor service wear and dents to scabbard. GC
