Two 19th Century Chinese Ivory Card Cases. One case depicting a domestic figural scenes carved within vase & crucifix panels 3¾ ins x 2¼ ins (9.5 cms x 5.5 cms). The other case with one side intricately carved with flora & foliage and the other side with a detailed figural scene 4¼ ins x 2¾ ins (11 cms x (7 cms).
A Magnificent Quality Russian Silver Tea Set, dated 1859. The scallop sided baluster tea pot & coffee pot having elegant scrolling handles with ivory ring embellishments. The lids surmounted by foliate sprig loop handles, and all raised on scalloped pedestal bases. The tray having a moulded edge and curvature corners, leading to c-scroll and crested shell handles; the centre engraved with a laurel wreath bordering the initials S.S. The fitted case having a chamois leather lined interior and tooled leather brass mounted exterior. 27 ins (69 cms) x 17½ ins (44 cms).
A Small Georgian Inlaid Tea-caddy of beveled rectangular form. The hinged top having a knop to the centre of an oval patera on a thuya wood ground edged in rosewood cross-banding & stringing. The front with an inlaid ivory escutcheon above an oval panel depicting an urn of flowers on a green stained ground. The canted green corners inlaid with vertical chequered bands, 4 ins x 2¾ ins 4½ ins high (10 cms x 7 cms x 11 cms)

The top section having three pigeon holes above two short & one long drawer with turned ivory knobs, flanked by cock-beaded cupboard doors with an oval veneered centre and ebony inlaid border. A very unusual George III mahogany tray top table Sheraton style, circa 1800, the flared tray top with pierced handles to the sides and a high back, above three frieze drawers with boxwood edging and turned ivory handles, standing on square tapering legs united by a low full-width shelf, 45in. (115cm.) wide x 17in. (43.5cm.) deep x 32in. (82cm.) high. * This is a very intriguing piece of furniture which was almost certainly made as a one-off commission, possibly for a tradesman for display purposes. There is some evidence from marks beneath the edges of the tray top that it was originally contained in a case or box for transport or storage, leaving the tray top exposed.
