Laquer work with no obvious faults to both sides.

An unusual ivory and silk Fan, late 18th/early 19th century, the ivory splines pierced and carved with boats on a lake bordered by rocks and trees, a fortified building to one side, the leaf yellow silk, the guards deeply carved with chrysanthemum and other flowers and buildings, silk torn, guards repaired and one section detached, open 46cm guard 28cm The silk of this fan is typically Imperial yellow and the building on the left of the lake could be a representation of the Summer Palace, so it is conceivable that this fan originates from there. ??????/????? ?????? , Both bats broken in two but still attached, yellow silk frayed on left hand side (see images on website).

An ivory Figure of `The Heavenly Maid Scattering Blossoms` , probably early 19th century, the maiden immortal standing up-ending a basket of peony at her shoulder, other plants including a peach and lotus up her long pleated robe, on a contemporary ivory rockwork, fixed stand carved with ruyi, chips to ribbons at rear, 21.5cm, wood stand (2) It is possible that the figure may represent `The Heavenly Maid Scattering Blossoms`, a story from Vimalakirti Sutra. The girl was sent to scatter blossoms during the teaching of Vimalakirti, the blossoms stayed on the disciples and could not be removed, while none of them remained on Vimalakirti. The disciples were then inspired to study harder on the sutra. (3) ??????(??) ????????? , Small scroll missing to rear of figure head, otherwise no obvious faults.

A pair of ivory Wrist Rests, probably Kangxi, each of rounded rectangular bean form and deeply carved with two ladies and eight children in an interior, the ends with flowers growing from rockwork, all well engraved, one end minor damage, 6.4 x 14.8cm, wood stands (4) ???(??) ????????????, One panel with 2cm section on the upper right broken and glued with a small section missing and a small chip. The plant on the far right with some losses. The second panel with a 1cm hairline crack to the top right and top left hand corners, the plant on the left side table with some losses, the bamboo stem to the right with a split, a further flower to the base of the bamboo with a stem missing. One stand with a loose joint.
