A JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD CARVED IVORY OKIMONO, depicting a woman in traditional dress holding a young child with a toy horse, and a parasol in the other hand, to a naturalistic base. 18.5cm high CONDITION REPORTThe parasol is very thin with a small (2mm in diameter) hole and another thinning area (2mm in diameter) near the edge. No noticeable hairlines or discolouration.
