A Chinese carved ivory puzzle ball, late 19th century, the outer skin carved with dragons, approximately 7 layers, upon a turned a figural stand with leaf carved base, overall height 21.5 cm, the puzzle ball 5.2 cm diameter. CONDITION REPORT: Weight 77 grams. The ivory puzzle ball has seven skins and a central inner ball. It appears to be in good order throughout with no obvious chips, cracks, losses or restoration.
