Late 19th century Japanese carved ivory figure of a deity holding a peach, 20cm, another of a man with child and another of a Samurai, 18cm - 20cm (3) CONDITION REPORT Peach figure- good order, some cracks to body and face. Figure with child- poorly repaired legs and missing object in hand- some cracks. Samurai- hand broken
Art Deco Asprey silver gilt, enamel, diamond and ivory cigarette case, the black enamel panels with diamond and red enamel decoration and ivory ends (London 1932), 86mm x 55mm CONDITION REPORT Very good condition. In our opinion the red and black enamel have been re-enamelled. The push button operates but the lid does need manual manipulation to open, however, closes properly. One ivory corner has been reattached
George III silver teapot of rectangular cauldron form, with raised belts of decoration and ovoid border, silver handle with ivory insulators, hinged domed cover with rectangular finial, on four ball feet (London 1809), maker's mark rubbed. All at approximately 10ozs, 26.5cm across CONDITION REPORT General condition good, some surface scratching and minor denting possibly repaired on body to left of spout. A 19th century French ormolu hand mirror, with ivory handle carved as an Egyptian attendant holding bulrushes, engraved with a coroneted monogram, 12.25in.By repute this hand mirror belonged to Eugenie de Montijo, the former Empress Consort of Louis Napoleon Emperor of the French who went into Exile in the United Kingdom in 1871.
