An interesting cloisonne enamelled casket, of canted oblong form with pierced decoration, decorated in blues, green, ivory and yellow, the cover with a central raised section surmounted by an enamelled boss centred by the chased, iconic demi-figure of a Saint, with his right hand raised in benediction, unmarked, probably Russian provincial, possibly late 17th century, 4.25in (10.8cm) long, 8oz gross.
