The pile is full and thick but dirty. Would benefit from cleaning.

An Ebony Two Day Marine Chronometer, signed Barraud, 41 Cornhill, London, no: 1749, 19th century, three tier case with brass stringing, top lid with a brass vacant cartouche, vacant ivory front plaque, concealed side handles, 4-inch silvered dial with Roman numerals, reserve power aperture, subsidiary seconds dial, single fusee movement with ``Harrisons`` maintaining power and ``Earnshaws`` type spring detent escapement, diamond endstone, free sprung helical hairspring, compensation balance with weights and timing screws, movement contained in a gimbal, numbered 1749, 19cm high, sold with a Camerer Cuss & Co invoice dated 1979 03.10.14, Top lid with small cracks, minor brass stringing missing, slight rubbing to the sides, front ivory plaque with two screws missing, surfaces are slightly rubbed to the sides, dial with minor scratches and the silvering is slightly faded, movement needs cleaning, fusee chain has come off the barrel, movement not working.
A George IV Silver Teapot, Paul Storr, London 1827, of compressed circular form with a chased acanthus leaf border to the girdle with two cartouches, one engraved with a lion rampant, the ivory handle with silver terminals in the form of a serpent`s head and tail, with an applied gadroon and leaf border to the shoulder, ivory finial and raised on four paw feet, 15cm high, 29oz 7dwt Clear marks. Age splits to finial, handle is in good condition, no faults or erasures noted. Stem of finial is split and will need repairing as is currently held together with thread. Possibly a later handle owing to the colour difference between handle and finial.
