A Japanese wakasaki with polished steel blade and carved ivory handle and scabbard, relief decorated with figures in a domestic setting, together with an ethnic carved wood ornamental spear CONDITION REPORTS The handle and scabbard are extensively carved with aged staining throughout, scabbard is in two sections normally held together by a small pin which is now lacking, the lower lower part of the upper section has a triangular chip and a 1" section lacking (see photos), base to the lower section of the scabbard is signed (see photos), handle has an area of 1.5" missing to the skirted base to the handle, white metal mount to the handle is dented but intact, the polished blade has grey and blackened staining to both sides (see photos). Carved wooden spear is dirty to the incised area to the handle, the underside with white speckled markings, but spear intact.

A late 19th Century Chinese ivory puzzle ball, the carved spherical ball with foliate carved decoration raised on a turned and pierced reticulated and floral carved decorated stand CONDITION REPORTS Overall with some cracks, damage and losses, some wear and discolouration, damage includes quite extensive damage and breakage to internal puzzle balls to spherical section to top, plus some losses to carved decoration, and large split, some areas of loss to the base, various cracks, etc.

A collection of early 20th Century carved ivory pieces, to include two small ivory figure groups, a carved ivory figural tusk section, a carved figure of an Oriental man standing with a fan in hand, a netsuke depicting a dog of Fo, a bone page turner and a 19th Century clay pipe and a small carved figure of a boy running CONDITION REPORTS All with wear, scuffs and some discolouration. Various splits, losses and damage - including hand missing, hat very damaged and with losses, chips, numerous cracks, some fitments missing, etc (please see photos for examples)
