A 19thC blue leather fitted parliamentary type box stamped P&F Schafer, 27 Piccadilly London, the hinged lid bearing the name William Heathcote, possibly relating to Sir William Heathcote M.P. (1801-1881) and the number 1, enclosing a fitted interior stamped Briggs maker and fitted with inkwells, ivory ruler and associated pea pod shaped needle or pencil lead case, letter opener with pen knife attachment, pen knife, etc., 28cm wide, and an associated felt cover.
An early 20th century Cornish serpentine desk clock, the annular top inset a later clock movement, the pillar support with ivory backed thermometer, on a turned base. Height 29cm.Condition report: The movement seems securely fixed (glued?), the aperture measures 5.5cm, the diameter of the base is 10.8cm.There is a filled chip at the top of the column and two cracks visible to the back at 6 o'clock and 1 o'clock.There is the remnants of an old label to the base. Collection of 19th Century ivory items to include; a pair of small candlesticks, bust of a young gentleman, pair of opera glasses and single drawer telescope by Jones London. (5) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Figure is 11 cm tall approximately. Very grubby but no obvious damage. The opera glasses have 4 noticeable splits and are very dirty. Candlesticks have no obvious damage. Telescope has lots of splits and cracks.
Early 19th Century Welsh oak two stage coffer on stand, the moulded top with five fielded panels above a projecting base with an arrangement of five drawers on stile feet. 141 x 54 x 140cm approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) The top is very worn and warped with evidence of woodworm, handles missing, ivory escutcheons missing. Scratched and worn as expected with age.

The salt and pepper shakers have a Bristol blue glass liner, hallmarked: CAF for Faraday & Davey (Charles Arthur Faraday), London. An antique filled silver and ivory twist handled toasting fork and a fluted footed sugar bowl. Fork hallmarked: HW Col for Henry Wilkinson & Co, 1891, London. Sugar bowl hallmarked: A&JZ for A & J Zimmerman Ltd, 1911, Birmingham. Weight 184g. Largest measures 13 x 9.5 cm.
A Mappin & Webb highly decorated silver plated coffee pot along with a silver plated napkin ring. The coffee pot has a framed central oval cartouche and a stylised basket weave design to the background. There is a stylised floral design border around the base and foliate and floral engraving to the hinged lid. The handle has ivory details and makers stamp to the base. H.26cm
