A large late 19th/early 20th Century Japanese Panel, the carved ivory lilies in high relief and emanating from a highly stylised stained wooden vase decorated with a central Taotie mask below a key fret and flanked by open winged fen/phoenix, the birds and vase further emanating from a boat within stylised scrolling waves in relief, signed lower left with a stained red ivory seal mark, 137cm x 60cm CONDITION REPORT: Generally good, one or two very minor losses to extremities (good overall). The panel looks like brown lacquer onto wood, it is 137cm high and 60cm wide, one or two pieces of ivory have been glued back on.
