No bruises.

A George III silver oval three-piece teaset by John Emes, London, 1802, chased with a band of stiff acanthus leaves below an acanthus frieze onn linear ground, teapot only with initials"RSC", ivory insulators, gilt interiors to sugar bowl and cream jug, teapot 25.5 cm. long. Wt. 975 gm.There is a small repair in the moulded girdle of teapot and also just above the girdle and a couple of shallow small bruises to lower body, pinprick ding to teapot handle, good marks, cream jug and sugar bowl in crisp condition.
A Victorian silver teapot by William Hunter, London, 1845, chased with a frieze of flowers incorporating a cartouche either side, one vacant, the other initialled "N" for Naylor, buttercup finial and acanthus-capped scroll handle, on anthemion and foliate-decorated feet, ivory insulators to handle, 17.6 cm. high, wt. 707 gm.Shallow bruise to initialled cartouche, pinprick ding to vacant cartouche, finial a little loose.
An early Victorian silver naturalistic melon teapot in the 18th century Dutch style, by Messrs. Barnard, London, 1837, with leaf-chased cover and triple leaf finial, ivory insulators to handle, four leaf feet, the spout in the form of a leafy branch, one side engraved with a baron's coronet above crest of a dragon supporting a tilted shield with its front claw, 12 cm. high, wt. 369 gm.Overall good condition, there is a small soldered up split on right edge of upper handle where it has had a small bruise. Marked in cover and base.
A Victorian silver three-piece teaset by Martin & Hall, Sheffield, 1869, ovoid bodies and circular pedestal bases chased in low relief with panels of foliage and strapwork on textured ground, angular handles, teapot with ivory insulators, engraved with crest in buckle and strap cartouche, gilt interiors to milk jug and sugar bowl, teapot 22 cm. high, wt. 1459 gm.Crests and decoration to neck of milk jug are tired/worn, some wear to marks.
A pair of Art deco painted bronze figures of dancing girls with ivory heads and hands on oval onyx bases in the manner of Lorenzl. in good condition but some light wear to the painted surfaces, one head broken and refixed, tip of one finger missing from one hand, very slight chip to rear of one stand. Hts 17.5 and 18.5cm.

(Austrian)"Girl with Book", a painted bronze and ivory figure on an onyx base of a girl with long flowing dress, her bodice, arms and legs extensively decorated in red and blue enamels, kneeling on one knee and grasping an open book to the other. Unsigned but after the model by Gerda Ira Gerdago. In excellent condition, slight wear to the gilding. Ht. 16cm.
A very finely carved ivory table screen of a stag with three hinds in a forest setting carved in high relief on the curved surface within an integral scrolling frame and standing on a shaped ribbed pillar with leafy base. This exceptional piece is in very good condition with no chips to the scene or its frame, three small cracks to the translucent background. The only damage we can see is losses of some foliage around the supporting pillar. Ht. 33cm.
An exceptional ivory shrine,c.1880, of typical form, the central column with hinged doors enclosing Kwannon, two acolytes and a censer, carved with immortals below a stepped roof with dragons, clouds and chrysanthemums, the sloping roof with lotus surrounding roundels of man (swastika) and Tokugawa mon beneath a dragon and cloud spire knop, all resting on a pierced galleried platform, reached by steps on a matching tiered base, the engraving all heightened by a sepia stain, red lacquer tablet engraved Gesei, original rosewood base carved as a stone wall,49cm overallThe wood base bears a remarkable resemblance to the Edo castle.
