Inlaid with rosewood, walnut, boxwood, tortoiseshell and ivory, having twin brass carrying handles and a fall front to reveal a bank of eight drawers. 38cm wide. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Lifting to the veneers, some bleaching, hair cracking to the ivory and two drawer handles replaced one leaving a square of missing veneer.

Very good condition save for a threaded peg protruding broken from the pedestal but of unknown function.

The ivory is free from any cracking, the paint free from wear and excessive fading. The metal and enamel are free from faults. The case with some wear but certainly presentable.
