An elegant silver mounted Dha dating: 19th Century provenance: Burma Strong, curved, single-edged blade, slightly narrowed toward the base, of triangular section. Small, disc-shaped silver quillon, with relieved border. The first part of the grip covered with a long, silver ring-nut finely decorated with four bas-relieved orders depicting overlapped leaves, a band of floral motifs, dragons and a frame; the rest of the grip, following the curved line of the blade, made of ivory. Wooden scabbard, entirely silver-plated, featuring bas-relieved decorations (a small defect on the tip), worked into five segments; the first one with frames, geometrical drawing and a checkered section, the remaining ones with effigy of animals and mythical animals such as elephant, tiger, dragon, etc. dimensions: length 98,5 cm.
