A well made small antique Pine Box having dovetailed corners, the domed sliding lid revealing an exquisite removable working Model fashioned from ivory of a lady with a broad brimmed hat seated on a spinning chair at a spinning wheel. Meshed wheels beneath rotating the spinning wheel and operating via a cam and link, a mechanism which rotates her head and raises and lowers her left arm. 4`` high x 2`` wide x 1 1/4``.
A 19th c. mixed woods Sewing case - 5`` x 2 3/4``, the top having a finely detailed ivory and pen work inlaid scene of a couple pausing by a well with a barking dog beneath a tree.
