Matchbox Regular Wheels 62c Mercury Cougar - RARE STANNARD CODE 1 - pale yellow body (commonly referred to as cream), clear windows without windscreen wipers & without rear view mirror cast, ivory interior, bare metal base, chrome hubs with black plastic tyres - Excellent to Excellent Plus with just a few tiny chips, in generally Excellent very clean but creased at 1 end "New Model" Type E4® Box. This is a great example and 100% original, which displays very well indeed.
A 19th century scrimshaw whalebone walking cane, the shaft carved with an upper section of architectural spiral reeded pillars, the square capitals with mother-of-pearl and baleen inlaid decoration, the lower section with spiral reeding, the marine ivory pommel carved in the form of a Turk's head knot, length approx 89cm (repair to pineapple effect collar).
A 19th century Anglo-Indian ebony and porcupine quill inset writing box, inlaid with overall bone dots, the double-hinged lid opening to reveal a pair of ivory inlaid portraits and flower-filled urns, width 38.5cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
