A George IV silver teapot, possibly Charles Thomas Fox, London 1829, of squat lobed form, the cover with pumpkin finial and fitted a carved ivory handle, crested, gross weight approximately 850gm/Note: Crest of Lee Condition Report: . No signs of repair . Slight dents which are clear on the extra images if you enlarge them. . Crest engraved to both sides . Marks clear in lid and base and matching . λ William IV tortoiseshell pagoda shape tea caddy, inlaid with mother of pearl flowers, leaves and butterflies, the interior with ivory edging and with twin lidded compartments on ball feet, 12.6cm high, 15.4cm wide, 10.7cm deep. Lot 105 – tortoiseshell tea caddy. Small chips with losses to corners of lid. Some losses to pewter stringing and minor lifting. Old damages and losses around the hinges. Lid warped slightly, small nicks to tortoiseshell on edges of body with some losses. Two mother of pearl leaves missing. Old chips to edges of lids to the interior. A little warped, one corner repaired. Two different handles. Lock tooth missing. Some veneer chips to base. One foot loose, needs re-fixing.
λ An early Victorian tortoiseshell pagoda shape tea caddy, inlaid with pewter stringing, the front with mother of pearl flowers, the interior with ivory edging and twin lidded divisions with vegetable ivory handles, on ball feet, 13.5cm, 19cm wide, 12.5cm deep. Lot 106 – a tortoiseshell tea caddy. General wear consistent with age and use with small nicks to edge of lid and corners with minor losses. Some pewter stringing lifting to the back right corner. Some veneer cracks to the back of the caddy and around the hinges. The front is inlaid with mother of pearl on what appears to be tortoiseshell but could possibly be a faux tortoiseshell ground, with some cracks and losses to the pewter stringing on the right hand edge. Some small chips to the base with a repair. The interior lids are slightly warped. Evidence of re-gluing to one ivory foot. Slight lifting to some tortoiseshell.
λ A Regency tortoiseshell pagoda shape tea caddy, inlaid pewter stringing the hinged lid with a white metal plaque inscribed with the initials 'MAR', to a twin lidded interior with ivory handles on brass ball feet, 15cm high, 17.3cm wide, 10.8cm deep. Lot 109 – a pagoda shaped tortoiseshell tea caddy. The lid with some blooming to the tortoiseshell and the silver plated plaque is tarnished. Chips to the front left corner of the lid and back right corner of the top of the lid with some losses. Old surface dents and marks. Some losses to pewter stringing. A large chip to the underside of the back right corner of the lid. Some minor veneer cracks. Brass worn to feet. With a later lining to the base. Small chips to interior edging and to the corner of the interior lids which are slightly warped. Handles a little yellowed.
A Lenkoran rug, Talish area, south Caucasus, c.1920-30, 217 x 141cm. Lot 16 – a Lenkoran rug. Overall with colour run to the ivory field. Corners curled. Some old repairs to ends and an old repair to one side. Some wear. But generally not in too bad a condition but with some problems listed previously.
λ A Victorian ebonised wood and beadwork book trough, with a pair of handles above a split baluster decorated front, 17.5cm high, 45.5cm wide, 21cm deep, together with a mahogany and kingwood box, the sliding cover marquetry inlaid with a lion with a shield and with fan spandrels, with applied ivory eyelets. A good north west Persia carpet, possibly Malayer, mid 20th century, 335.5 x 252.5cm. Lot 19 – a north west Persia carpet. This is a good quality carpet with a nice thick pile. There is some colour run to the ivory field from the neighbouring blues and reds and with some colour change to the red ground of the medallion. Some small patches of localised wear. With some losses to pile to bottom left corner with possible repair. Possible repair to the top edge of the medallion. No fringe to one end. Edges a little misshapen.

λ A 19th century French rosewood and brass mounted toilet box, the hinged lid with a vacant plaque and fitted with a silk pouch and a mirror, above five glass jars and bottles with engine turned silver lids each with a monogram, and with two lift-out trays with steel and ivory handled utensils above a leather lined compartment fitted with brush boxes, compartments and an associated ivory shoe horn and a comb, the hinged fall front stamped with maker's mark 'A.C. PARIS' revealing a plush lined drawer with four divisions, the base with a leather trade label for 'A. CHRISTOPHE RUE DU TEMPLE 33 PARIS', 23.6cm high, 30cm wide, 23.5cm deep, together with its original leather travelling case and with five travel labels removed from the case.Provenance: The Dr Lawrie Webster Collection of Boxes. Lot 239 - French rosewood toilet box. The outer leather case is quite worn with old scuffs especially to the corners and edges with some of the straps missing. The exterior of the box with general slight wear and some a slight fading in places. The brass is a little tarnished and worn. Minor hairlines visible to the back of the box with some minor varnish scratches. The interior, the lid has a silk lined stationary compartment which is currently loose. The silver a little tarnished in places with minor old dents, quite a few chips to one glass bottle around the rim. Some of the plush lining possibly replaced at some stage. Some of the steel is a little work and tarnished with some rust spots. The thimble is missing to one tray. Some utensils possibly associated. Some of the ivory handles and fittings have yellowed slightly with some staining.
λ A Victorian oak decanter box, the hinged lid with a sunken brass handle inscribed 'ROBERT ELLIS CUNLIFFE DEC. 14.1881. FROM ARTHUR GREG', the interior with a pair of glass decanters and stoppers and with an ivory retailers plaque inscribed 'OLLIVANT & BOTSFORD. SILVERSMITHS, MANCHESTER', 19.8cm high, 20.cm wide, 11.6cm deep.Provenance: The Dr Lawrie Webster Collection of Boxes. Lot 329 – an oak decanter box. General wear to exterior with a large chip to the bottom right edge with losses, the fall front is slightly warped and doesn’t fit flush to the rest of the box. One of the lock teeth has sheared off. We have a key but the lock mechanism doesn’t work. Minor chips around the interior around the hinges. Decanters and stoppers; the decanters are slightly different, one possibly later or associated. Small nicks to the collar on one decanter and minor nibbles to the edges and edge of base.

λ A Victorian black leather gentleman's shaving box by Lund, the fitted mahogany interior with pouches and a mirror inset to the lid with ivory handled blades, scissors, tweezers, a corkscrew, the majority stamped 'W. LUND', with a leather cased hone, glass scent bottles, a needle case, compartments for brushes and two silver boxes and covers, one for a shaving brush the other for wax, each with a crest of a unicorn's head out of a coronet, hallmarked 'JD', LONDON 1841, the leather stamped 'LUND FLEET STREET LONDON', 7.2cm high, 26.5cm wide, 10.4cm deep.William Lund set up his manufactory and retail shop at 23 & 24 Fleet Street, London in around 1835 joining his father Thomas Lund in business.
