A large George III silver tea urn, by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, London 1759, the ovoid body embossed with flowers and scrolls, mounted on a square base (detachable) with pierced gallery, gadrooned edge and raised on four paw feet, iron frog to the centre, iron weight to the base, the spigot with carved ivory tap head, crested, 56cm high, 88.75oz (excluding iron collar, base plate and frog)
Jacques Staunton of London 1851-2 ivory chess set. One side natural, the other red. White king stamped 'JAQUES LONDON', king's side knights and rooks stamped with a crown. 32 pieces. Pieces contained in an continental carved wooden box with maroon fabric lining. Height of King = 7cm/2.8in. Height of pawns = 3.5cm/1.38in. Condition report: The set is in good condition, all 32 pieces are present. However there is a chip to the neck of one of the pawns and a chip to the base of one of the knights. The box is not original.

A 19th century Dieppe ivory carved box, the hinged cover in the form of a Bishop wearing a mitre, the rectangular base with canted corners and raised on four lion supports, 11cm high CR - Several age splits to ivory. English School, 18th century, Portrait miniature of a boy, oval, watercolour on ivory, 3cm.; 1.25in high, set in a gilt-metal frame with solid back inscribed 'J.M. aged 3 years and 9 months, March 1757'. English School, early 19th century, Portrait miniature of a gentleman, oval, watercolour on ivory, 6.5cm.; 2.5in high, set in a gilt-metal frame the reverse glazed to reveal a spray of hair. Condition Report: The miniature is in fair, original condition. There is some disruption to the paint surface resulting in loss of pigment and various surface marks. A George II silver coffee pot, by Francis Pages, London 1736, of plain tapering cylindrical form with moulded foot, edge and cover, fitted with an ivory scroll handle, crested with the motto 'Furor Arma Ministrat', 21cm high, 22.19oz The body generally in good condition, slight strain to the hinge,multiple black cracks to the ivory handle, the upper mounting of which is slightly loose at the pin.
