A French silver gilt campaign set in a case, the beaker by Armand-Camille Tonnellier, 1st standard mark for Paris 1819-1838, the knife, fork and spoon by Joseph-Baptiste Fuchs, Paris, 1st standard marks for 1838-1972, the case by Taulin, 131 Palais Royal, the twin bladed knife, fork and spoon each folding with mother of pearl handles terminating in anthemion and scrolls, with a steel peg and worm corkscrew and a circular tapered mother of pearl salt and pepper container, all in a leather covered fitment sitting in the beaker, the ten sided case in padouk with ivory lines, all engraved with an unidentified crest and E d`E or C d`C, 15cm (6in) high. Tonnellier registered his mark in 1838. Fuchs registered his mark in 1833 and traded from 29 rue Michel le Comte.
A late 18th century circular snuff or bonbonniere box mounted with a miniature equestrian portrait of Frederick II the Great, probably German, in papier mache painted to simulate tortoiseshell, the oval portrait painted on mother of pearl with a gold bezel, the cover and base mounts in gilt metal, 8.3cm (3 1/4in) diameter. See le Corbeiller, Clare European and American Snuff Boxes 1730-1830, New York 1966, no. 661 for a very similar equestrian portrait of Frederick mounted on an ivory box in the Osterrichische Tabakregie, Vienna.
A Chinese export ivory rectangular card case, Macau circa 1860, carved overall with figures in a pavilion filled wooded landscape, 10.5cm (4 1/4in) long, in a fabric covered box labelled Vochon Faz Leques (makes fans). Vochon was a specialised fan maker in Macau. Only a handful of these artists` names have been passed down to us: Hoaching, Hipqua, Shong shing, Luenchun and Lunshing in Canton, as well as Assan and Vochon in Macau.
A George III gilt metal chatelaine, the scroll edged figural clip with two conforming panels beneath hung with an ogee sided necessaire worked in high relief with Hercules standing with his club, a lady with lute verso, each amidst scrolls on a matted ground, opening to reveal complete implements, comprising: an ivory twin blade aide memoire, a snuff spoon, a scissors, a needle, a pencil holder and a folding knife, with a subsidiary bloodstone mounted scent flask and a later banded agate heart pendant, the etui 10cm (4in) high, the overall drop 19cm (7 1/2in), in a later leather covered case

A George III silver serpentine outline straight-sided tea pot and stand by George Burrows I, London 1792, the tea pot with an ivory pineapple finial to the domed cover, a wooden loop handle, bright-cut engraved banding, engraved with an armorial and a crest, 29.5cm (11 1/4in) long; the stand with conforming decoration, on four bracket feet, 17.8cm (7in) long, 628g (20.2 oz) gross. The shield and crest of GEE. These were registered in 1619 for Eustace Gee of Rathley, Leicestershire, seventh in descent from Alexander Gee of the same location, temp. Henry V.

An Anglo-Indian ivory and tortoiseshell veneered box early 20th century, Vizagapatam region, lid of rectangular form with canted edges, the central pane bearing a reticulated ivory plaque with a lion passant to a central reserve encased within a finely pierced ivory frame, ivory strapwork, conforming reticulated ivory panels to front and sides of body, purple velvet interior, on four lion paw supports, 8 x 6in. (20.3 x 15.3cm.), 3¼in. (8.3cm.) high; together with a smaller similar Anglo-Indian sandalwood and ivory box, canted lid with reticulated border encasing an ivory frame with floral and foliate trails, conforming decoration to body, lined in purple velvet, on four lion paw feet, 6 x 4½in. (15.3 x 11.5cm.), 2¾in. (6.6cm.) high. (2)

A 1960s Meccano Outfit No. 10 in the original four drawer oak cabinet the set believed to be complete and the parts in very good with little use, complete with the manuals 1, 2/3, 4/5/6/ and 7/8, a complete set of ten `Special Model Leaflets` in their folder, twenty further Special Model Leaflets and reprinted c.1949 Set 10 manual, the four drawer cabinet with gold decal to top and ivory plastic drawer handles, rebated handles to sides, 23½ x 14½in. (59.5 x 37cm.), 11¼in. (28.5cm.) high. * Condition: The case in good condition, with some scratches, scuffs and marks to the exterior consistent with age. Contents in very good condition with some minor chipping to paint. Parts not strung and the yellow cards are reproductions. Contents believed to be complete, but this is not guaranteed. No repainting to parts. Original decal to top in good condition, with just two small chips. Manuals and Leaflets in good condition - No.7/8 Manual has a detached cover with splits to spine.
A mahogany cased games compendium early 20th century, brass hinge and lifting mechanism to lid, recessed lid interior containing a tooled leather cream and red chess board, five deep deposits to rear of base, cream and red stained ivory chess pieces seated on a central detachable brass handled tray that when lifted reveal a compartment for storage of playing cards etc., flanked by two columns of red and ivory draughts counters, the front holds a removable box containing a set of ivory dominoes with a storage compartment to each side, the ebony and satin wood lids of which bear two recessed ivory markers with brass arrow pointers, 15¼ x 11¼in. (38.75 x 28.5cm.), 5½in. (14cm.) high.
English School (circa 1820) a portrait miniature of Rebecca Gillman of Hoveton, Norfolk, wearing a yellow dress, white chemise with blue and gilt brooch, pale pink sprigged shawl, white lace ruff collar and white lace bonnet, watercolour on ivory, 9.2 x 6.9cm., ivory split, in a black papier-mâché and gilt frame with gilt metal hanging mount.
Miss Florence Hannam (British, fl.1890-1898) a portrait miniature of Constance May Baker, wearing a blue dressed with ruched sleeves, a pearl necklace with cross pendant around her neck and her hair parted with curled fringe, oval watercolour on ivory, 9.2 x 7.3cm., the reverse glazed with ivory silk lining and tied lock of hair within, in a gilt metal frame with tied ribbon surmount. * Constance was the great grand daughter of Sir Robert Baker. The lot also includes one of his visiting cards, inscribed verso.
