A Remington New Model Army six-shot percussion revolver to the United States Navy, 7.5inch sighted octagonal barrel stamped BEALS PATENT SEPT. 14 1858 MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTON`S ILION. N.Y., serial no. 103368 (?) on the underside of the barrel, the underside of the grip strap stamped U.S.N, two-piece ivory grips, together with a pair of walnut grips stamped C.C., contained in a later oak case with accessories.

A very fine quality pair of silver and ivory commemorative square and level stamped HARRODS London. Both are beautifully engraved. The square was presented to Alderman Sir Alfred Newton Bar`t and the level to Walter Spyer Esq. in the Laying of the Foundation Stones of the New Gresham College 24th July 1912. These pieces were obviously separated when presented to the recipients at the ceremony but have recently found their way back together after almost 100 years.
