A pre-1893 Liege Proof Marked 7 mm. pin-fire 6 shot Revolver, the highly decorative pistol having fine decoration with lining and stylised foliage contrasting with the polished gun metal finish and further enhanced by the yellowed bone/ivory grips. The rifled barrel 3 7/16" long, the action with folding trigger appearing to be in full working order. 7 7/8" long overall. weight 355 gms. Sold with an original lockable Mahogany case 8 7/16" x 5 1/8" x 2 1/8" high with a key and also containing a metal ammunition box for "50 Metallic Pin-Fire Cartridges for Lefaucheux Revolvers" and a cleaning rod. (Ammunition no longer available, being obsolete).

A 5 mm. pin-fire Liege proof marked 6 shot Revolver having 4 3/8" long elongated, octagonal, rifled barrel, folding trigger and decorated with stylised floral engraved decoration having a plated finish, the contrasting smooth-surfaced grips being of bone/ivory. 7 1/2" long overall, weight 170 gms. Believed made for the Austrian market circa 1860-70. Action would benefit from attention to the trigger return spring. Sold with a lockable Mahogany blue baize lined case 8 7/8" x 4 3/8" x 2" high with a key, a lidded compartment containing 7 spent shell cases.
