(3) Condition report: Malbrouk fan has extensive foxing and splits in the paper folds; the rosewood is not split or repaired; it does not have a suspension loop. The ivory fan has several pinned repairs to the outer sticks and a silver sleeve repair; the inner sticks are in good order; there is some scuffing and splits to the paper mainly along the top edge; minor surface deterioration to the watercolour; colours are good. The ebonised fan is in good order apart from some rubbed gilding on the outer sticks.
