An Austro Hungarian silver gilt and carved ivory tankard, Stephan Mayerhofer, Vienna 1835, the cylindrical ivory sleeve exceptionally carved with a medieval boar hunt, with lions, bulls and a castle visible in the woods beyond, all mounted in gilt-metal with S scroll handle, the cover with floral finial above bands of cast scrolling flowers and foliage, with conforming decoration to the foot, marked to cover and foot, 21.5cm high bearing 'M Parker Collection, No 25' aged label to base CONDITION REPORT: Some discolouration and tarnishing to the gilt mounts - would benefit from a good clean. Hairline crack to the ivory by the bears paws and other little natural fractures in places. Ivory body would also benefit from a good clean. Overall appears to be generally in good order. A Victorian burr walnut veneered games compendium with agate cabachon mounts, the rectangular brass bound case opening to reveal cards, mother of pearl gaming counters, ivory and Coromandel wood cribbage boards, two ivory numbered markers (one at fault) and further components, with engraved brass plate to the interior 'G Coulstings The Mall Clifton', 32.5cm wide, 19cm deep and 8cm high CONDITION REPORT: The walnut veneer to the back of the box and the lid has been heavily repaired / replaced. Other repairs to the veneer to all edges of the lid. The veneer appears to have lifted on the lid and is duller in appearance. Metal mounts grubby and some wear to the cabochon mounts. Internally better, general rubbing to compartment edges. ONe of the markers is defective. A William IV carved mahogany bow front chest, with two frieze drawers above two short and three graduated long drawers, on turned feet, 124cm H x 138cm W x 66cm D (One of the handles does not match the others) CONDITION REPORT: The top left handle does not match the others. Two of the handles are dented, the seven may be original.Top with some age wear blemishes and marks. The side panels have some age wear cracks but nothing serious. Some fading to the mahogany at the bottom. Escutcheons are ivory.

A Victorian Derbyshire pietra dura desk thermometer , the arched top thermometer inlaid with entwined flowers and rose sprays, mercury level thermometer on ivory plaque 'W Pratt & Son, Torquay', 21cm high CONDITION REPORT: The ivory back plate to the thermometer is cracked at the top where the pin is. Hair line cracks to the base of the upper section - this is at the bottom where the ivory back plate finished (see images) Some small nicks to the front of the arched top on the front, two to the back of the arch - these are bigger. Some small chips to all four corners of the base and to one of the edges of the base. A Victorian silver teapot, Edward and John Barnard, London 1853, of compressed globular form, with all-over chased scrolling floral and foliate decoration and melon finial, ivory spacers to the handle, initialled 'CT', 14cm high, weight 20.5ozt CONDITION REPORT: Initialled to one side and not the other, cover sits flush, ivory spacers to the handle, marks clear and legible, some minor surface scratching and wear, interior dis-coloured through use, overall appears to be in quite good order.
